6th ITF Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The 6th Australasian ITF Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Saturday 8th June, 2024 in Melbourne, Australia
The event is being held in conjunction with the 4th Global Open Taekwondo Championships.
Join us to celebrate new inductions, and to welcome nominees in the new World Championships Competitor category.

A reminder the event is open to all ITF practitioners, past and present, regardless of which organization you align yourself with.
All persons are eligible to be nominated – check the nomination categories and nomination procedures.
We invite all students, supporters, past nominees and inductees to come along and celebrate the great achievements of all of those who have contributed to the development and success of General Choi’s Taekwon-Do in the Australasian Region over the past 40+ years.
2018 Ceremony Report
The 2nd ITF Hall of Fame Australasia ceremony was held on Saturday 27th January 2018 at the iconic Carlton Football Club in Melbourne, Australia.
ITF Hall of Fame ceremony included nominees, families, students, friends and supporters who came along to support and acknowledge the great achievements of those inducted.
Guests were welcomed by Grandmaster Trevor Nicholls, who traveled from the UK for the event, along with speeches by Grandmaster Kim, Grandmaster Choi, Master Muleta and Master Keating.
On the evening, inductees included:
Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa – Legend of Taekwon-Do
Grandmaster Jong Chan Kim – Legend of Taekwon-D0
Master Michael Muleta – Outstanding Lifetime Contribution
The Inaugural event in 2017 was a huge success with attendees and nominees from across Australia and New Zealand, and some very worthy and proud inductees.
The event has rapidly grown and was followed up by a sold-out event in 2018, featuring 3 Grandmasters and 10 ITF Masters in attendance, from various organizations, who travelled from UK, Canada, Korea, New Zealand and across Australia for the event.
